Workgroups
Community-Based Participatory Research
Our Community-Based Participatory Research Workgroup is a resource for gathering organizational information allowing for better implementation of evidence-based practices, and to provide a consortium of sites for research and translation science. The Workgroup meets the third Tuesday of every other month at 2:00pm EST and is Co-Chaired by Dr. Marita Titler and Nancy Weber.
Education and Networking
The Education and Networking Workgroup focuses on providing educational programming on evidence-based practice to members of NNPN, and to provide environments that encourage and support communication in the pursuit of evidence-based healthcare practices. This Workgroup meets the second Thursday of every month at 2:00pm EST and is Co-Chaired by Dr. Michelle Aebersold and Jean Cody.
Staff Nurse
The Staff Nurse Workgroup assesses the needs of staff nurses and provides evidence-based practice information and resources specific to the needs of staff nurse members of the NNPN. The Workgroup meets the second Monday of every month at 4:00pm EST and is Chaired by Anne McLeod.
Implementation
The Implementation Workgroup has developed an Implementation Toolkit available on the NNPN website. They also work on providing additional tools, evidence-based processes, and mentoring to maximize implementation efforts by NNPN members. This Workgroup meets on an as needed basis and is Chaired by Roxanne Wilson.
