The Clinical Inquiry Course (CIC) was started in 2002 due to the demand for creative and effective approaches to integrate EBP into organizations and has been completed by hundreds of nurses across the U.S. This innovative program provides an opportunity for nurse leaders to learn advanced skills in evidence-based practice and the role of the evidence-based practice facilitator. CIC also guides nurse leaders in the development of organizational infrastructure essential for an evidence-based practice program. Learning is facilitated through didactic presentations, discussions, facilitated work time and scheduled consultation.
