Welcome to the National Nursing Practice Network

Do you ever feel like you’re “re-inventing the wheel”?

Do you wonder how other nurses are addressing patient care needs and achieving excellence in practice through use of evidence?

These and other questions stimulated us to develop the NNPN—National Nursing Practice Network®, a consortium of acute care healthcare agencies committed to the use of evidence-based practices (EBP) through a collaborative model designed to promote shared learning and participation. The NNPN® was conceived in January 2005, with guiding principles, governing structures, and charter membership formalized January 26, 2006. Member organizations represent 15 states in the U.S. and consist of community, academic, and VA hospitals. We are excited about the work we are doing, and the future possibilities for continued improvement in patient care. If you would like further information about our nursing practice network, please contact us for further information.
