The Retirement and Closing of the NNPN

To All Who Have Used and Contributed to the National Nursing Practice Network (NNPN):

It is with mixed emotion that I announce my retirement. While I am excited to retire at the end of this year (December 31, 2020), I am sad to learn that the University of Michigan School of Nursing has decided to no longer support the NNPN organization. We will be closing the NNPN on December 15, 2020, one day after the December 14 NNPN Online Educational Session. (Participants in the 12/14 session will still get continuing education credits for this month).

I want to thank each of you for your dedication to nursing and evidence-based practice, for your high quality patient care, and for sharing your ideas, innovations, and evidence-based practices. We wish you all the best in the future, and I hope we can stay connected through other venues.

Sincerely,
Marita G. Titler, PhD, RN, FAAN
